Bitcoin transactions as a graph

چکیده
Nowadays, blockchain is an upcoming area for researchers from different research fields. Bitcoin, as the first successful cryptocurrency, has accumulated numerous data after its existence. Here, Bitcoin transaction graph a theory perspective investigated with more available given now. This paper mainly focuses on and provides both practical theoretical sides of data. Several existent measurements some newer ones are computed analysed. These help to interpret extensively. A new modified Buckley–Osthus random model proposed, simulation Chung–Lu attempted represent network. Some suggestions improve point out pros cons these models. Moreover, experiments show that scale-free networks fundamentally not good considering all data, but mechanics preferential attachment crucial. How proceed experimental perspectives future studies also discussed

Graph-based forensic investigation of Bitcoin transactions
This thesis illustrates forensic research work on Bitcoin, an innovative Internet based global transaction system that attracts ascending popularity during the recent few years. As an open, public and scalable distributed payment system, Bitcoin brings forward significant economic and technological impact to our world. Meanwhile, a new notion of virtual currency, “Bitcoin” comes into existence ...
متن کاملToward Unlinkable Bitcoin Transactions
The appearance of Bitcoin in 2009[Nak09] has enabled the trustless transfer of funds by means of a publically verifiable distributed ledger. However, this ledger exposes all transactions, resulting in extremely poor privacy for Bitcoin users. In this paper, we describe some new technologies that would reduce the amount of publically inferrable information on the Bitcoin blockchain. We start wit...
متن کاملGraph Transactions as Processes
Transactional graph transformation systems (t-gtss) have been recently proposed as a mild extension of the standard dpo approach to graph transformation, equipping it with a suitable notion of atomic execution for computations. A typing mechanism induces a distinction between stable and unstable items, and a transaction is defined as a shift-equivalence class of computations such that the start...
متن کاملCompact Confidential Transactions for Bitcoin
An enhancement is suggested to make Bitcoin transaction amounts hidden to all but the sender and receiver. In each transaction, the output amounts are encrypted with the public keys of the respective receivers. Only the transaction fee is publicly revealed, to allow miners to prioritise transactions. A homomorphic commitment for each transaction proves that the sum of the transaction inputs mat...
متن کاملBitcoin Private Key Locked Transactions
Bitcoin smart contracts allow the development of new protocols on top of Bitcoin itself. This usually involves the definition of complex scripts, far beyond the requirement of a single signature. In this paper we introduce the concept of private key locked transactions, a novel type of transactions that allows the atomic verification of a given private key (belonging to an asymmetric key pair) ...
